It’s not something I need to explain really, is it? The whole world experienced the same crazy year, albeit different experiences.
I’ve heard a lot of awful and heart-breaking stories of other people’s experiences of 2020, but I am thankful that we managed to get through it!
In fact, I’ll go as far to say that 2020 has been great for me. Not so much the self-isolation and not being able to see family; but I’ve realised so much this year that I probably wouldn’t have found out if I didn’t have chance to stop and reflect
I realised I love God outside of attending church, that DIY and content creation brings me joy and my husband and I can literally make it through anything!
I’ve learnt how to maintain my own hair and keep it moisturised. I’ve learnt how to use a circular and mitre saw. I’ve learnt to listen to my body and act accordingly, especially when I need to take a break.
I’ve learnt that people need love and compassion because life isn’t easy and everyone deserves to smile.
I know not everyone’s 2020 has been the same, but I hope we all can take at least one thing away from 2020 which can help prepare us for the years to come.
In 2021 I hope to blog more, especially because it’s so pretty now with the new design 😉
Enjoy the last day of 2020! See you next year
